Student of the Month: Lucca

Lucca has been working his hiney off for the last six months. He started lessons with me almost three years ago, and this past March, we started down the fingerpicking path. He learned The Plain White T’s’ “Hey There Delilah,” The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun,” Phillip Phillips’s “Gone, Gone, Gone,” and now his efforts are culminating in Kansas’s “Dust in the Wind.” Not just the intro, but the entire song! With singing! It’s still a work in progress, but he wanted to put the fruits of his labor on display for his second Student of the Month feature. (See here for his first one, last year. He’s come a long way!)

Looking forward to getting charmed by Lucca at all the recitals, talent shows, open mics, and world tours in his future!
